As my partner put it, 'So they bought you a T-Shirt with a critique of your life's work on it?'

  2. "Nice colour"...hmmmm. Your MA students chose a blue T shirt. Perhaps not exactly the political colour of choice for Prof Grumpy?

  3. If it had been blue it would have been in keeping with the generally ironic tone. As it is, what this pic doesn't show is that it's actually a rather nice imperial purple!
